An announcement on The Original Marini’s Empanada House website said the restaurant was closed at 3522 S. Mason Road, Ste. 100, Katy, from April 16, temporarily, to find a new location in the city. Managers of the long-time family restaurant with a tenacious story wrote in a message to customers that he will continue to share his Argentinian heritage with the Katy community, but no timeline has been identified for reopening.
Marini spinach, beef”Chicken “gaucho” and “diablo” empanadas are referred to as the traditional recipe of founders Marcello and Pelusa Marini and customer favorites on the restaurant’s menu. Marini’s serves savory and sweet empanadas with a variety of ingredients and vegetarian options, as well as salads and specialty sandwiches.
