Buenos Aires (VNA) – The Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina held a ceremony on October 27 to inaugurate the renovations of the Vietnam Square
and the bronze plaque presenting President Ho Chi Minhthe biography of her bust in Ward 12 of Buenos Aires.
The event, which aimed to celebrate the 48th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations (October 25, 1973-2021), brought together Argentine Vice Minister of Culture Valeria Gonzalez and Cuban Ambassador to Argentina Pablo Prada.
Addressing the ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador Duong Quoc Thanh highlighted President Ho Chi Minh’s great contributions to Vietnam’s struggle for national liberation.

He appreciated the support of the Argentine government and people in Vietnam in the past struggle and the current cause of economic development.
Argentine Vice Minister of Culture Valeria Gonzalez affirmed that Argentines still support Vietnam’s revolutionary cause for national independence and nation-building initiated by the late president, and continue to make efforts to strengthen bilateral friendship in all fields./.
