Abu Dhabi T20 Community Cup set to take off in UAE capital


Registration is open for the 2021-22 Abu Dhabi Cricket Community Calendar, with the UAE capital’s first multi-sport facility ready to welcome the local cricket fraternity to the venue.

Abu Dhabi Cricket has successfully hosted the Indian Premier League, ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and Abu Dhabi T10 running in recent months and local cricketers can now register for the new season which begins with the Abu Dhabi Community Cup. Dhabi T20 on Friday December 3.

The new 28-team competition will be held in association with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and will be played over the next eight weekends in the beautiful new Oval of Tolerance.

In addition to having a prize pool of 50,000 Dh, the semi-finals and final of the Abu Dhabi T20 Community Cup will be played on the magnificent Tolerance Oval and should be broadcast live online.

Teams can register for the tournament through the Abu Dhabi Cricket website. Registration starts at Dh 2,000 for the Abu Dhabi T20 Community Cup, with registration fees for individual players starting at Dh 35 per player. People who are not already part of a community team are invited to register.
